Ready to test your oral and dental knowledge? As I go through my dental journey, I realize that educating others along the way is important, as it allows people to better understand the dental field and the importance of oral health. I started doing these mini quizzes on my Instagram page since September 2020 and it has grown to become a weekly event due to the great amount of interest from my followers. This series has grown so much so, that I would like to archive the quizzes on this platform so as it is easier to access by others if needed and it is more organized. Also, by putting the quizzes here, it will allow you to test your knowledge as many times as you would like and go back to previous quizzes at any time. I will update this page every week, but new questions will always be posted on my Instagram story every Monday. So, if you would like to participate live, head on over to my page. Hello! My name is Nellie Manoukian and I am a third year dental student at Herman Ostrow's School of Dentistry of USC. My passion for dentistry stemmed from curiosity through my initial encounter with dentists, and as I went through school it became clear that my calling was in the dental field. I have worked at Dr. Joseph Sarkissian's dental office all throughout my undergraduate schooling and learned so much about the field and running a practice. I am now excited to start my own journey in becoming a dentist and future practice owner. I hope to help break the negative stereotypes that are blanketed on dentists and provide a safe and relaxing space for patients to learn, enjoy and heal.
